Memory Bengesa is a native Zimbabwean who came to America as a teenager. She was raised in a Christian home where her parent’s influence inspired her gift of writing. She is a born-again Christian. Her writing stems from a growing relationship with God; the tests, trials, victories, and intimacy experienced that is teaching her to live by faith. She writes to young adult believers and non believers the real truth about the power of God residing in the born again believer. She shares the need to constantly and consistently tap into this power by faith in order to avoid the traps of sex, money, and sin.
Memory Bengesa currently resides in the Midwest and is very active in her church’s outreach ministry. She is Vice President of Shekinah Glory, a 501(C) 3 international organization founded in California. She is the founder of M.I.E.E; Motivate Inspire Empower Each-other.™ The brand name M.I.E.E.™, distributes motivational, inspirational Christian accessories and apparel worldwide.
Memory is working strongly with some programs that are sensitive to her, such as; "Books for all-International" and the " Memory Bengesa-Character" scholarship foundation.
Among several books that Memory is working on, one of her most exciting fund raising projects is the recipe book; "Todyei" (a Gourmand Award Nominee) which translates "what shall we eat" in Shona which is a Zimbabwean native tongue, this book is filled with Memory's favorite Zimbabwean recipes, Zimbabwean dining etiquette's and funny old traditional myths. Half of the proceeds of the recipe book are going to a building project for Orphans in Zimbabwe and the the other half to the "Memory Bengesa-Character" scholarship foundation.
"My goal in life is to always live as an example by my character through Christ and to eventually reach the whole world with a purpose of providing for those in need and providing an education for those needing one, through my character I aim to be that 'Christ-like "example".
